Mercedes Benz 2010 E-Class
Mercedes Benz has been around for years and each year they surpass even their own expectations with the automobiles produced. For example the new Mercedes Benz 2010 E-class has a new aero-dynamic design that overwhelms other luxury class cars; with wrap-around LED tail-lights and LED Daytime running lights with squared-off twin headlamps. Such features as the aggressively styled front end with the chrome polished grill and "Mercedes" emblem, sunroof, double-stitched, hand-polished leather, and wood grain interior accents, let you know these are classic Mercedes vehicles.
You can get this car in 5-passenger, 4-door sedans or 4 passenger, 2-door coupes, depending on how many people you want to transport. One of the greatest benefits of this car is the sensors that help with your rear view vision in blind spot areas, so it's like having eyes in the back of your head. This kind of technology is just one of the reasons the Mercedes Benz E-Class vehicles is able to out-class the competition.
The family version is the 5-passenger sedan. It is a full sized luxury sedan with 268 horsepower, V6 engine or 382 horsepower V8 engine options and a 7 speed automatic transmission. There is also a 4-passenger sport coupe version that has the same engine choices and a standard panorama sunroof. No matter which model you choose, you are going to find that they are redesigned inside and out. The two E-Class models are the E350 and E550 in either sedan or sport coupe options.
With such features as "Airmatic" air suspension on the E550, "Agility Control" suspension on the E350 and 17 or 18 inch alloy wheels on the sedans, or staggered 5 spoke wheels on the sport coupe, they are a comfortable ride in high-powered Mercedes fashion.
The E-class started in 1947 and they have remained the most successful line of luxury sedans ever since. Their futuristic features and designs are what have made them a tradition. The 2010 Mercedes Benz E-Class is a couple of great cars that promise more of the same.
They have the optional 4Matic all-wheel drive technology and standard electronic stability control. Even though you are driving a luxury sedan, you feel like you are driving a race-car with practicality in bad weather.
Of course, the safety first technology is most impressive with 9 airbags, the "Attention Assist" driver drowsiness monitor, the optional "Distonic Monitoring" and "PreSafe Brake" system that automatically maintains following distance in cruise control and initiates emergency braking.
It uses some of the most advanced technology for driving safety in a luxury sedan today. Mercedes Benz has always been known for their great engineering and design, and the E-class shows it beautifully.
With the new "Comand" system that has a 7 inch LCD display, which comes standard and the standard Bluetooth interface for hands-free calling, it offers uncommon conveniences and addresses other entertainment options like iPod/MP3 media interface, SIRIUS Satellite Radio and rear seat entertainment system.
The 2010 Mercedes Benz E-class ranked top in comparison racing with the BMW550i and a Jaguar XF. With the quickest 0 to 60 in 5.3 seconds, and the quarter mile run at 103.5 mph in 13.6 seconds, it was the best in the group, due to the largest displacement engine with the most torque because of the 7 speed transmission, but it also got the best fuel economy at 19.3 mpg. What more could you ask for?
